So how did Joseph capture the hearts and ears of South Korea? Joseph moved to Korea in 2012 after graduating from the Ohio State University with the hope of becoming a K-pop artist. According to his GoFundMe page from a year ago, he auditioned for different singing contests and began busking to raise his profile and build his name. He eventually became a Christian missionary, saying that his purpose in Korea is to spread the Gospel, and that, "it wasn't [him] who decided to come and spread the gospel in Korea, but God chose Korea specifically for [him]."

You can see his passion and emotion on his face when he sings. Let's hope his singing career prospers~ Good luck, Joseph! 😊
