HIPHOPPLAYA FESTIVAL 2019: What You Need to Know

Festivals! Don’t you just love them? All those artists at one event, alongside all the people that love the performers just as much as you do, and you’re all lost in the music, bobbing along to the beat and having an amazing time. Korea is presenting you with a festival on April 27–28, 2019! If this sounds interesting to you, sit tight and allow us to give you all the important info, such as lineups and location.

Initially started in 2016, the event is located in Hangang Park and features a variety of new, well-known and famous artists, all performing some bopping hip-hop for your ears to enjoy. This year’s lineup will see the likes of artists such as Zico, Changmo, Beenzino, DEAN, DPR Live, Soma and many more! So yes, it’s going to be one epic concert.

Here’s a quick video of the highlights from 2017’s festival:

Of course, like any festival, you don’t have to stand in the crowd being squished and shoved. You have the option of just relaxing, maybe eating some snacks or grabbing some food from a local food stand while still jamming to the music. If being close to all the action is more your speed, make sure to get there early enough. With the festival starting at 12:00 p.m. and finishing at 9:00 p.m., you’ll be able to have a first-hand experience of the power the artists have over the crowd and the pure energy that radiates off each individual!

Also, at the festival are a variety of stands where you can purchase a plethora of merchandise, and if you’re lucky, catch one of the artists doing a fan signing.

So, if you just want to have a nice day out listening to some live music, with artists who perform their hearts out, either with some friends or maybe to make some friends, why not plan a trip to this festival?

Let us know if you’ve been before, or maybe you want to go in the future? We love to hear from you Fever Fam!
