Head In The Clouds Music Festival

Head In The Clouds Music Festival

What’s one great way to end the summer season before starting the fall? The same way it starts, of course: in an empty lot filled with stages, multiple vendors selling all kinds of snacks and goodies, music blaring from whichever way you turn in a crowd of people who are having just as much fun as you are!

88rising will be hosting their second annual music festival, Head in The Clouds, in Los Angeles, California mid-August. Having launched their first festival last year and seeing great success, it’s no wonder the founders decided to announce a second one this year.

The Asian-centric music festival is a one-day long event. Consisting of some of your favorite groups and solo artist performances. Last years line up consisted of artists such as Rich Brian, Joji, Keith Ape and Zion. T, to name a few. This year, however, you’ll find performances from iKON, DPR Live, Jackson Wang and many more being announced as the date of the event nears closer.

Along with music, the festival will also include delicious snacks from 626 Night Market, in which you will find vendors selling some all-time fan favorites food.  Such as Korean dumplings from Workaholics , sushi tacos from Norigami and lobster nachos from Lobsterdamus!

However, this collaboration isn’t only food-related. There will also be other vendors for fashion and art. The artist being city locals who participated in the company’s Art Walk Community. You can find artwork from Cindy Doung, a Los Angeles based-illustrator who’s worked with 626 Night Market for three consecutive years. A great way to find Asian representation whatever way you look!

88rising, the founders of this event, wanted a great way to bridge artist from Asia with East and Western youth culture. The main goal for this festival is a fun, culturally different, diverse program. General admission tickets and VIP ticket bundles are still being sold through the official website. Is this one event you’re looking forward to? What are some artists you’re wanting to see live? Let us know in the comments below!
