Taking inspiration from the popular snack Ppushu Ppushu, ramyeon-ddang (라면땅) takes dry ramyeon snacking to a new level. For those who are unfamiliar with the snack, Ppushu Ppushu is a fun ramyeon snack designed to be nearly smashed to smithereens and sprinkled with a seasoning packet. Ramyeon-ddang is prepared by air-frying or toasting the brick of instant noodles, then brushing on a sweet, spicy sauce.
The typical recipe for the sauce for ramyeon-ddang is similar to the sauce used for rice cake skewers (떡꼬치). See how easy it is to prepare this glossy, sweet, and spicy sauce with 10000 Recipe (만개의 레시피:
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 tablespoons Korean chili paste
- 1 tablespoons water
- ½ tablespoons soy sauce
- ½ tablespoons garlic
Of course, many people have their own rendition without soy sauce, using sugar instead of corn syrup, or adding more Korean chili paste for that extra kick. By slightly tweaking the recipe, you will be able to find the combination that perfectly suits your taste.
