The YG Family has Taken Over the World of Just Dance!

Many of you have probably heard of the video game, Just Dance; a game so simple, all you have to do is literally just dance. It’s a game for people of all levels and of all ages. So why is this game so popular? Well, because this game features your favourite songs from any genre of music and most time periods such as Classic Rock or Hip Hop. Players are given the opportunity to challenge other players from all around the world or play with multiple players at your home and it makes people move with so much excitement you won’t even realize you’re tired until you take a break.

However we won’t really be getting into details on how the game works or which American artist made it on the game nor which song is the hardest to pass or dance to. No, today we’ll talk about the family that seems to be taking over the world of Just Dance. The YG Family.

In 2014, Just Dance released that years version of the game Just Dance 2015, featuring PSY’s Gangnam Style which now has 3.2 billion views on youtube. The game features dance steps from the original music video with an icon that seems to represent the iconic YG singer.

In 2016, the franchise released Just Dance 2017.  PSY was featured yet again with his new hit song, Daddy ft. CL with 385 million views on YouTube. The forty-year-old who seems to have his own unique dance moves was featured the following year in Just Dance 2018, with his next big hit, New Face, with 151 million views on YouTube.

In 2018 Just Dance featured not one but two YG groups in their latest game Just Dance 2019. The franchise seems to have wanted to spread their horizons a bit and decided to feature BlackPink’s latest hit, Ddu-du-ddu-du. The song that earned more than 36.2 million views in the first 24 hours of its release is now a song you can challenge yourself with.  Featuring the iconic moves of the talented four and including icons that represent each member of BlackPink.

The very last group to be featured in Just Dance 2019, is no other than the (usually referenced as) “Kings of K-pop”, YG’s very own, BigBang. One of their most iconic songs, Bang Bang Bang, has reached 342 million views on YouTube. The dance in the game features their iconic hand whip which all five members of BigBang make their song known for.
