Starbucks Korea and BTS Turn Up the Shine for the 'Be the Brightest Stars' Campaign
“We all, the most shining star in the universe. BTS and Starbucks cheer for the sparkles of all the stars in the world. Be the Brightest Stars."
On January 21, Starbucks Korea and pop group BTS launched their collaboration campaign, “Be the Brightest Stars,” which will be running until February 6. This campaign offers a new beverage option, five new food options, and six different collectible items. A portion of the proceeds made from the campaign will be donated to the Beautiful Foundation’s Opportunity Youth Independence Project, and used towards their career and educational programs for disadvantaged youth.
The new limited drink and food items include:
- Blooming Purple Vin Chaud (served hot or cold)
- Blueberry Star and Vanilla Star Macarons (topped with the BTS logo)
- Purple Berry Cheesecake (topped with the BTS logo)
- Purple Star Cupcake
- Purple Star Poundcake
Featuring a purple starry night design, the collectible items include:
- Starbucks paper bag
- Reusable cup sleeves
- Laptop and tablet sleeves
- Mugs and glassware (designed with real gold!)
Starbucks Korea has a year-long contract with the Beautiful Foundation, in hopes to support the youth of South Korea and provide opportunities they might not have otherwise. With their year of collaborations starting with BTS, they're already uplifting the spirits of ARMYs throughout the country.
During this campaign, every Starbucks in Korea will be playing BTS’ popular song “Make it Right” from their album Map of the Soul: Persona to add to the customer’s in-store experience! Eating and drinking BTS-inspired treats while listening to their music? Sounds like a dream come true!
