Have Troubled Skin? Korean Skincare is Your Answer

Have Troubled Skin? Korean Skincare is Your Answer

Skin is the largest organ that humans have and as humans, we work hard to keep that organ healthy. Though, some of us get the genetic short stick and have acne-prone skin. It might seem like the breakouts are unstoppable and we’ll often get frustrated, but here are products to check out if your skin needs a little help.

Bee Venom Emulsion from Nature Republic:

Emulsion might sound like a vaguely terrifying word but it’s nothing to be scared of. Emulsions are light-weight creams and are generally less thick than most. It’s an answered prayer for sensitive skin. The bee venom helps with inflammation we are prone to get when our skin is irritated. It’s great for acne and it’s soothing for those painful breakouts that can be quite tortuous. It retails for $15.90, both in stores or online. The emulsion is part of the bee venom line from Nature Republic. There’s also a toner and face mist with this line that you can buy as well. Whether you use them all together or separately, they’ll have your acne saying goodbye.

TONY LAB AC Control Bubble Foam Cleanser from Tony Moly:

It’s important to keep your skin clean if you have acne-prone skin, but over-washing can also lead to more irritation. That’s why this cleanser is perfect to keep your skin clean without irritating it any further. It’s not too harsh on the skin since bubble foam cleansers are great solutions for sensitive skin. Not to mention that it’s fun to see the bubbles rising up! This Tony Moly cleanser has aloe vera to soothe your skin, golden pine tree extract to help with inflammation, and sage to reduce redness. If you’re interested then check out their website! The cleanser is $13.50, and they have a ton of other great products as well.

Acne Pimple Master Patch from Cosrx:

These little patches are like bandages for your acne! They help keep dirt and bacteria away from zits. You can use them to treat anything from whiteheads to cystic acne. The patches are transparent and basically invisible to the eye, so you won’t have to worry about walking around with a bandage on your face. They’ll also stay on through thick and thin, which means they’re water-proof. It can be found in select stores or online, ranging from $3.99 to $5.00.

Pore Clearing Color Mask with Volcanic Cluster [Purifying] from InnisFree

Innisfree has a range of colorful clay masks that you can mix-and-match to suit your skin. The one we will be talking about is the black purifying mask. This mask is good for oil control and like the name suggests, purifying. This is because it contains Jeju volcanic clusters. As Innisfree describes it, they were once hot lava fragments that cooled down, now packed with minerals that absorb oils and help purify skin. This mask is only $9.00 and you can find it on their website.

Tree Tea Cleansing Water from Benton

This next product is not for those with dry skin!  Benton cleansing water is infused with tea tree water and oil. Tea tree oil is known to be great for treating acne and controlling oil, this why those with dry skin should stay away from this product. Even if you have oily skin, too much tea tree can also prove to be detrimental to your skin and cause painful break-outs. This cleanser is a perfect balance though. It’s not too overwhelming for the skin. It gets rid of your makeup while also helping your skin! It is not cheap at $17.00 but it includes 6.76 fluid ounces.

These are only five products out of the countless that exist; there’s serums, lotions, masks, creams, and even face mists. There’s an entire world of K-Beauty out there, go and explore. Your skin might just thank you for it!
