EVERGLOW Overflows with Cool on First Mini Album, 'REMINISCENCE'
Six months following EVERGLOW’s smash hit “Adios” from the single album HUSH, the group is back with their first mini album REMINISCENCE and the title track “DUN DUN,” which was hinted to fans through a teaser and galactic-themed concept photos.
The teaser for “DUN DUN” reached 6.7 million views five days following its release, and its official music video reached 5.1 million views within the first eight hours. The numbers show EVERGLOW’s impact on the industry!
The mini album consists of four songs, “Salute,” “Player,” “No Lie,” and the title track “DUN DUN,” which contains an EDM vibe mixed with outstanding vocals. The song begins with a strong beat that is an EVERGLOW staple throughout their comebacks, and continues to keep its upbeat tempo until the beat drops and is complemented by powerful dance moves. Fans will surely get up from their seats and chant “You are so done!” just as the EVERGLOW members do.
The three remaining songs on the mini album also have an upbeat EDM sound. “Salute” has a fast tempo and strong drum beats and shows a more cute and playful vibe. “Player” has dark EDM drops and high vocal ranges, and lastly, “No Lie” starts off as a chill vibe but is met with a catchy chorus that will surely get stuck in your head!
The group has also recently announced a USA tour which begins in March. They are set to tour Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Jersey City, and LA. An exciting treat for international For Ever’s!
EVERGLOW debuted on March 18, 2019 under Yuehua Entertainment. Their debut song, “Bon Bon Chocolat” made a Top Five debut on World Digital Song Sales Chart, making the group one of the strongest rookies of the year. The group has also been nominated for several awards such as Genie Music Awards‘ Global Popularity Award and Mnet Asian Music Awards’ (MAMA) Best New Female Artist.
