BTS Announces 'Map of the Soul' World Tour

ARMYs rejoice! BTS just announced the Map of the Soul Tour, which starts in Seoul on April 11 and ends in Tokyo on September 2. There is a mysterious date that has yet to be announced for June 13 and 14, around the time of the group’s sixth anniversary.

In promotion of the tour, a video highlighting the opening dates in Seoul was released at the time of the announcement along with a full schedule confirming dates fans had already come to suspect as billboards mysteriously began popping up at the rumored venues across North America.

This tour is set to be a very special one as the group prepares to release Map of the Soul: 7. We’ve already heard two of the songs from the upcoming album, “Interlude: Shadow” and “Black Swan,” and we can sense that the show is going to be jam-packed with multiple surprises.

We’ve seen multiple activities are planned for this comeback. MotS:7 has a different promotional schedule than usual for BTS. The group has never done promotions for such a long period before the release date, and seems excited to share with ARMY what they’ve been working on over the past year. Preorders for Map of the Soul: 7 have exceeded 3.4 million copies, surpassing their previous record of 2.68 million preorders for Map of the Soul: Persona

The next Map of the Soul: 7 video to be released will be the comeback trailer for “Ego” on February 3, a few days before presales begin for the Map of the Soul Tour. If you are part of BTS’ global fan club and planning to attend a concert in North America, remember to pre-register for the ARMY Member Presale through Weply and Ticketmaster. Registration is open until Sunday, February 2.

Map of the Soul Tour ticket sales open to the general public on Friday, February 7 at 3:00 p.m. local time.
